Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Ayn, having decided that the danger has past, sets Tag down and walks back to her usual spot on the couch.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
*fd is hovering near the ceiling, reading a book* well then...*shuts it* I wonder...*takes out a black stone with red engravings on it*...if it works...*the symbols begin to glow* ahh.....*walks around outside the cafe. In some spots, the rock glows brighter than others* yes...yes...
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Alinos sits down and fixes himself a drink. "Tell me ,Gaia, do you know who rules this country?"
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"I've always assumed this area was self-governed. But Pasadga has a monarchy."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"True, the country is divided into self-govening territory. However, there is something...else."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Oh?" She leans forward, resting her elbows on her knees. "Feel inclined to share?"
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"It's...a very perculiar organization. It isn't a government, it only influences them. However, it's power is.....awesome."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Ayn arches an eyebrow. "I'm not following. I've lived here all of my life and I'm afraid I've never heard of this.. this 'organization'."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"You're not suppose to. They "balance the power" here. If someone becomes to strong, politically or otherwise, they're taken care of somehow."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"How did you find out about it, then? And where can I find people that are in it?"
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"You already have, but...I must be going. Goodbye, Gaia. Until next time." Alinos walks out.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Now this frusturated her. He was being too vague, and she hated vagueness. She sighs and leans back, staring up at the ceiling.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
[/i]Decieding with Alinos gone it's safe to come out, Legion appears in the rafters.[/i] "Temper temper."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Do you ever go away, or are you some sort of leech?"
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Legion purrs. "I'm just doing my job, though I loooooooove what I do ^_^."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Ayn smirks. "So I guess that makes you my bodyguard." She stretches out on the couch. "Go get me a drink."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Hah. I'm not some sensitive-***** type. Get me a beer, whore. You can get your own drink while your up. Now doesn't that brighten up your day?"
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"You go get your own horse piss." She braids a lock of her hair absent-mindedly.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Says the being inferior to men. They're ain't no angels in heaven. Woman were only made for reproductive purposes. Sorry to break it to you, ...wait, no I'm not."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Is that so? No wonder you had to take a bunch of different demons to create one, you couldn't find anyone to reproduce with."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"My kind lacks the ability to actually reproduce, as we are technically sexless. However, Archdemons like to be naughty. ^^ Of course, regular demons can reproduce, though they're hardly more powerful then a human."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"That's disgusting." Ayn stands and rummages through the fridge behind the counter.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"You really have no room to say that. You're lucky enough to only have heard the lecture. Other humans I've run into haven't been as powerful as you, almighty Gaia." The last comment was in a mocking tone, as Legion doesn't seem to fear Ayn at all.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"If that's true, high and mighty Archdemon, then why are you still here?" Her tone was a scathing one, and she closes the door to the fridge, holding a bottle of water.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"That's simple, because the Earth Goddess is something exotic compared to a regular human. Lambs are fine for slaughtering, but they're so easy. Get the point?"
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Unfortunately. And I assume you'll stick around until I become strong enough to end your life permanently."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Don't forget, if you live long enough to kill me, then Rand most likely won't be around to restrain me either. ^_^"
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"And I'm sure you look forward to it like a greedy little kid on Christmas morning."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Of course, I don't try to hide that. ^_^"
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
The thought garnered a sigh. She was tired- just tired of someone always there to either try to kill her or bother her. She wanted to be left alone.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Back in his little reading-nook in the rafters, Hayate's got the strange feeling that he's fallen through a hole in time. He shrugs and feels around for the bottle of water that he's got up there and takes a swig
Ah well. Time flies when you're... Forget it. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Rikali, or Blueflare, transforms into the dragon she truly is. She attempts to switch again and finds herself inable to do so. Scowling, the dragon moves over to Hayate and stares down at him. "Hayate. My friend."
Riki is sitting on a couch and staring around, bemused. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Sadik twiddles his thumbs, observing the two current situations. He grins sadisticly at the dragon then turns his attention to Legion. "So your job is just to observe the girl? Thats alot like ours, though hired by a different man. Any idea why?"
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
The dragon ignores Sadik, keeping her attention trained on Hayate. She does, however, risk a glance at him.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Sadik's fists tighten around his gauntlet katars, causing the katar blades to shoot out. He raises an eyebrow to the dragon then looks to the girl and closes one eye, aiming his right katar at the girl and readies to shoot the blade at her neck out of boredom.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
((He's in the rafters, and a dragon is looking down at him? o_0; Small dragon :p))
Hayate smiles at the dragon as it's head pokes up into the mysterious area of the bar where nothing but think beams of wood hold up the cafe's roof. Dragons, Demons and Messengers, oh my. Never a dull moment when you two are around, I'll give you that |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
The girl watches Sadik with emotionless eyes. Seeing the blade trained at her neck, she sighs and shifts to the other side of the couch. "Shoot me if you want...it won't do anything."
"True enough. Our lives seem to be one big drama after another." |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
I guess it's the whole 'pawns of the gods' kind of thing. Well, you don't see me complaining. Things would be so terribly dull without it. Imagine a world where all was peace. Thank goodness for hum~.. uh... sentient nature.
He flicks over a page in his book and swigs his drink. It does look somewhat like he's camping up in the rafters... which is odd as they can't be much more than half a foot across. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
He shoots the katar right beside her head and it lands in the coushin next to her. The blade retracts with the thin metal wire tied around it. He shifts his eyes to the Dragon. He begins to speak in a quite raspy voice. "Looks like we were right to put you down in a dirt nap. You possess innocence to live on, like a parasite. She dosen't know what the hell has happened to her at all, and much less does she know that she has a daughter." Sadik chuckles. "...That I still have."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
The dragon's reply to Hayate is cut short by Sadik's interupption. "I did what I had to, Sadik." her eyes gleam dangerously. "Rose may have come from her body, but she is MY child! What have you done to her?" With ease, Rikali crosses the room and towers threatingly above Sadik.
Riki watches this. "Child?" |
